Westfield, NJ.2018 was Golftini, Inc.’s most successful year. As the company approaches its 15thPGA Show, they take a minute to reflect as to what attributed to the best year to date.
“At Golftini you never know what is going to happen during any given day, but every single day is guaranteed to be filled to the brim with a bit of craziness and tons of new and exciting opportunities!” says Owner/Designer, Susan Hess.
Susan made a very conscious decision to just say “yes” to mostly everything in 2018. The year of “yes” was the outcome of a pivot point for Susan and Golftini, as many new opportunities presented themselves throughout the year. Deciding to approach everything with confidence and optimism provided a major shift. Every “yes” Susan said brought new people, partnerships, opportunities, adventures, and business her way.
A few major events that fell under the “yes” list for Susan were:
- Yes to riding in a 40 mile bike race - Yes to travel - Yes to the Masters - Yes to an 80s party - Yes to member guests across the country with new friends - Yes to being interviewed - Yes to speaking on a panel - Yes to painting artwork - Yes to taking the time to visit her children, sister, brother and dad and friends - Yes to doing all the things she loves to do
What did the year of “yes” teach the team? “The point is that it is easy to say no. Sometimes it is hard to put yourself out there, but 2018 ended up being my best year, as well as Golftini’s! I will continue to say “yes” to creatingbeautiful golf clothing that fills a void for my customers, influencing my employees, knowing that my employees inspire me to be my best self, and encouraging people to take a chance to do something outside their comfort zone- because that’s when change really happens,” Susan concludes. The team is looking forward to another successful year and PGA Show.
